Sailor's Valentines were victorian-era, shell-laden reliquaries made as souvenirs and gifts for loved ones back on land. Here's a little wearable version for a sweetheart who loves the sea.
Made from my handmade glass beads, Java glass beads, carved shell pendants, and strung with seed beads on Soft Flex beading wire and cotton cord.
17" long. The little stacked protrusions hang 2-3/4" long from the necklace.
