A talisman for the broken-hearted, but hopeful among us. This "milagro" pendant with the sword through the heart symbolizes grief or heartbreak and is a request for a miracle.
This necklace is strung from beads and pendants from all over the world - the huge milagro heart from Mexico, Italian lucite, African trade beads, horn from the Philippines, ceramic beads form Greece and several others from India. There are many handmade beads on this - favorite odds and ends from my beading table, including a skull bead, to signify the passage of time, integral for healing... and a fiber bead I made with sari silk and gold thread.
It's 17" long and rests on a medium neck's collar bone. The pendant is 2-1/8" tall.
