Salacia fish pendant - blue and pink

An articulated fish pendant with flexible, flowy movement, made from my handmade, glass, scalloped flower beads and fish faces, tails and seed beads.
Salacia, Roman goddess of the sea, wife of Neptune, mother of Triton, "sculpted fish from salt and sang life into their bones". The life of the pendant - the fish's movement - was believed to give it protective power and bring the wearer abundance.
They are strung on Soft Flex beading wire with anodized jump rings.
2-1/4" long, from the top of the jump ring. 3/4" at the widest part.
Comes on a hand-basted silk string.
